DONE DEAL: CARDIFF CITY COMPLETE SIGNING OF EXPERIENCED CHAMPIONSHIP GOALKEEPER
By Ryan White

Sky Bet Championship side Cardiff City have confirmed on their official website that the Bluebirds have completed the signing of goalkeeper Lee Camp on a two year deal.

The Bluebirds make their fourth acquisition of the summer transfer window so far ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, and Lee Camp arrives on a free transfer after being released by previous employers Rotherham United at the end of last term.

Camp has over 300 league games under his belt with notable spells at Derby County, Queens Park Rangers, Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth prior to his switch to the Millers in 2015.

The 32-year-old also has two promotions to his name having won the Championship title two years ago with Bournemouth and he came runner-up in League One in the 2003/04 season at Queens Park Rangers.

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has also added international experience to his ranks as Lee Camp has racked up nine caps for the Northern Ireland national team.

He follows Calum Paterson, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and fellow goalkeeper Neil Etheridge through the door in south Wales.
