Bizzare? Thought he looked very good
Fleetwood Town are delighted to confirm the signing of highly-rated attacker Conor McAleny from Premier League side Everton.
McAleny joins Town on a three-year deal after firing ten goals in just 14 starts for fellow League One side Oxford United last season.
A lively striker who has scored goals in the Championship for Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic, the 24 year-old becomes Uwe Rosler’s third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Kyle Dempsey and Harvey Rodgers.
Chairman, Andy Pilley, said: “This is a very exciting signing for our football club. Conor has turned down a number of offers from clubs in the Championship to sign for Fleetwood Town which shows where we are going as a club.
“We feel we have signed an attacker who will score us goals, and I personally can’t wait to see him pull on a Fleetwood Town shirt.”
