Ex-Aston Villa and Manchester United forward Dwight Yorke spoke to Sunderland about the position - but he won't be offered the job.

Dwight Yorke?? Really?? Wow!!
A lucky escape (MHO) with Pearson and he seems to be mentioned when any team outside the Top 6 or 7 comes available. Blew it for himself at Leicester with his arrogance and not condemning his boy for his antics!

To be fair to Pearson, Leicester give him a lot of credit for getting everything set up to win the Premiership with the coaches he brought in and his training methods. Ranieri changed very little apparently.
Pearson's man management and the way he conducts himself however, makes him come across an arrogant loose cannon who will turn a lot of players against him.
