Lawrence seems to have been around English football for a number of years without actually doing anything.
Zohore had his chance and he took it.

I wouldn't pay anything more than 2mill for Lawrence but that's just me.

Also just like Zahore...Lawrence also spent 5 months on loan to us the season before last and looked nothing like a £7million player.

So after half a good season each are either of them worth the figures being quoted??? Only time will tell!!!

Lawrence did well for Ipswich last season in fairness scored a few goals there he has pace and can score but 7 million is mad but the game has gone mad at present with money so who knows

I didn't say that he was worth it at all, I'm merely saying if our fans rate Zohore as £10M+ and they're the same age and both have only half a good season under their belt then surely they should be the same value?

Leicester have a much higher revenue due to TV rights so £7m to them is nothing compared to £7m for us

I totally agree with you, neither are worth £7m at all. POTENTIALLY they are, but I really don't see why our fans seem to think the world of Zohore after half a good season? Saying he's worth £20m in this market but complain when other players are worth £7m under the same conditions as Zohore

You might want to have a look at some of his goals and performances before you state that. Got an Ipswich fan mate and he said he was stand out player. He went on this ridiculous worldie goal scoring run, loads of goals outside the box.

different types of player is the reason....Lawrence is not an out and out striker which is what the serious money is spent on..and although he did score some real crackers for Ipswich his all round game is not fantastic.
its still very much potential with Zohore but i think anyone thats watched him can see there is a possibilty he could be a top striker one day

Not sure if the position on the pitch really matters. If you want to sign a good winger you need to pay the money. Same as Striker. Not since Hernan Crespo in 2000 has an out-and-out Striker been the world record transfer fee. I think they're both in similar boat at the mo. Same age and really only starting to show their potential in half a season of football so will be interesting to see what happens with both of them for Cardiff and Wales sake
