" A REAL LEGEND OF A CARDIFF CITY FAN PASSESS AWAY '
Risoli Di Todaro Saverio Sadly passed away today.
Very proud and honoured to have known Saverio for over 40 years RIP a True Gent xx
I had the pleasure and honour of knowing Saverio as he was known to thousands. My family knew Saverio well from his days of owning Italian restaurants in Cardiff to becoming a diehard City fan.
Saverio stood up for what he believed and was famous for standing up to Ridsdales era and marched with his flag, " HATE THE RIDDLER/LOVE THE CITY " then after 50 plus years of supporting the City, he finally had enough due to the Rebrand,but before he did that, Saverio marched against the Rebrand and decided enough was enough and said it was never the same.
I would regularly meet Saverio for our morning chats about the City at 9am in Waitrose, Pentwynm, Cardiff.
Even not that long ago on, my monthly visits to Cardiff I had the pleasure of more chats with Saverio and a cup of coffee.
What a charactor and a very very proud man.
RIP old friend you really will be missed.

With heavy and sad hearts we announce that Saverio - a loving and generous husband, a cherished father and grandfather - passed away in hospital in the early hours of today after a short illness. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. We will announce funeral information as soon as possible. Requiescat in pace.

Neve met him, but I have heard the name and heard people speak very highly of him.

Ah, this is so sad 
Many of us of a certain age will have been to Severio's and it was one of the finest restaurants in Cardiff
