Lee Camp and Jazz Richards could make their first pre-season appearances for Cardiff City against Plymouth Argyle tonight.

Both have been struggling with niggling injuries, delaying their return to action this summer.

But after the Bluebirds' Under-23s side take on St. Austell on Thursday night, Neil Warnock is keen to blood more first team players in Cardiff's biggest test of the current tour to Devon and Cornwall - a clash with League One Argyle.

Anthony Pilkington could also return after picking up a knock in the Bluebirds' pre-season opener, while new signing Lee Tomlin is expected to feature again.

And left-back Joe Bennett admitted the "different" environment of the South West tour was proving a big hit with the players.

Cardiff City have their fourth pre-season friendly this Friday as they travel to Plymouth Argyle. It is their third pre-season friendly of the tour of Cornwall. This follows the 7-2 win at AFC Tavistock and 3-1 win at Bodmin Town.

Cardiff City also won 1-0 at Taff's Well

This is seen as Cardiff City's toughest fixture of pre-season.

The match kicks off at 7pm and tickets cost £10

About Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle Football Club is a professional football club based in the city of Plymouth, Devon, England. They will play in League One, the third tier of the English football league system, in the 2017–18 League One season. They are one of two teams in Devon currently competing in the Football League, the other being Exeter City – Argyle's local rivals.

Home Park

Home Park is an all-seater football stadium in the Central Park area of Plymouth, England, and is the home of Football League One club Plymouth Argyle. The ground, given the nickname the 'Theatre of Greens' by the club's supporters, has been Argyle's permanent residence since 1901. After undergoing considerable development in the 1920s and 1930s the ground suffered heavy damage during the Second World War. It was reopened in time for the resumption of the Football League in 1945, and underwent further improvements in the 1950s, including the installation of floodlights and a new double-decker grandstand. The ground remained relatively unchanged until 2001, when construction of three new all-seater stands commenced. The work was completed in February 2002, and after further work the stadium became all-seater in the summer of 2007.

The stadium's capacity is 16,388.

He's been in his element all tour: happy to meet fans, pose for pictures and sign autographs. But if his team can show their improvement against Argyle, the Yorkshireman will be cockahoop.
