It's Cardiff City At Edgar Street This Wednesday Night

Cardiff will play away against Hereford on Wednesday July 26, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Cardiff City are Hereford's opponents on Wednesday evening in the first friendly of this pre-season to be played at Edgar Street.

How strong a team the Bluebirds will bring remains to be seen but Hereford manager Peter Beadle thought that some senior players could be included in what had been originally described as an under 23 side.

"With Neil Warnock in charge and the people they've got there, they will look to do it right.

"I think they will look to do it as a proper football match.

"Jenks has spoken to Ron Jepson, he knows Ronnie quite well, he played with Ronnie a few years back.

"I think they play Shrewsbury on Tuesday. They've got quite a big squad.

"So, hopefully, they'll have a few players who don't get enough minutes on Tuesday who will come along and play on Wednesday.

"It will be another tough test for the players.

"(Yesterday) we got through the game with flying colours, we've put in a really good solid performance. On another day could have nicked it but it's not about the result."

Cardiff supporters will have the Len Weston away area.

Prices are: Adults £9, Concessions £8, Under 18's £1.

Due to ongoing maintenance work at Edgar Street, the home section of the Len Weston Stand (terrace and G & H Block) will be closed for this game.

This game will be segregated, Cardiff fans will be located in Block E Len Weston (Away) and the Away Supporters Terrace. Tickets for the away end are available online.

As this is a friendly game no season ticket seats will be reserved. Season ticket holders are required to purchase a ticket for this game.

Your right Darren :thumbright: I forgot about that.

Atletico Baleares have the same pitch and if they had won promotion they were going to have to leave their temporary ground they are in now.

Hereford are looking forward to this expecting a crowd of over 3000 for this hope we have a good following. Plenty of pubs within walking distance of Edgar street, wetherspoons, Yates and Hogarths (best pub) will cater for away supporters. Hogarths cheap pub £2.30 a pint real ale, local ciders and lager
