Short Up Front?

Wed Aug 09, 2017 8:14 am

Are we short upfront for good strikers. Zohore is the main man but if he gets an injury throughout the season we are gonna struggle big time imo, saadi would have been quality back up to replace zohore if needed but since hes gone we aint replaced him with anybody, ward i just see as a good squad player or more a winger/inside forward then we have pilkington not good enough and meite, very short in the striker area going in to a long season, neil warnock surely needs to sign another striker before the window shuts?

We are however if we can shift the 3-5 we don't need I'm sure NW already has agreements in place to bring 2-3 in it will go to the last week of the window.

May be NW will get another striker - but we still have Rhys Healey back later this year

Rhys healey not proven or good enough to lead our attack imo, maybe a loan option from the prem or a surprise from abroad? Whos out there thats good????

Wards going to be a top player for us mark my words. He's physically strong and agile, technically he looks very tidy and he likes to bring others into play. I don't think he'll score us a hat full of goals but with the likes of Mendez, Harris and Tomlin chipping in I think we'll have enough goals in the team. Itll be interesting to see what warnocks plans are for Healey, I think he can play a part aswell.

Spot on - Ward is our man! I'm hoping Zohore doesn't pick up any knocks but if he does I'm sure Ward can do a good job.
better than the strikers we've had in recent years apart from the obvious ( chops, Bothroyd )

Zohore
Ward
Pilkington
Healey
Miete
If I'm correct, Kadeem Harris can play up front too
Also, I think Tomlin has played up front in the past
