Everyone chanting "thief" at Bobby Moore was my first memory..it closed the year after.

One story my uncle told me was at a game v Bristol City about 1947, big crowd and fans sitting on the roof,,,anyway, one guy fell through and landed on another guy, breaking the fall. His claim to fame was that he introduced the two guys to one another about twenty years later....


Seems it was quite a popular pastime..

Only ever went on the old Grange end once with the wooden boards, i was told a city fan was stabbed by a Chelsea fan under the stand. all the talk of Portsmouth taking the Grange, Chelsea were the only one's who actually managed it.
