I believe Malky only had good intentions for our club, he had a great connection with the fans, yes he fukt up with
Some transfers but he's still my favourite manager we've had, but Warnock is catching up with him quickly /o\

Whatever tan says about malky hes the only manager in over 50 yrs to take us to the top div did malky make mistakes yes but so did Tan changing us to red did far more damage than malky ever did so mr tan you are to blame just as much if not more than Malky

I couldn't even bring myself to read the whole thing... Tan is a bitter old man; absolutely jealous of Malky because we all adored him. I wish people would stop throwing the Cornelius deal about as if that is the cause of all our problems; he got injured early on and wasn't given a chance... as if it's the only time a big money player hasn't worked out at a club!

For me never took to Malky, throughly shifty and innit to make a name for himself at the expense of our club, it backfired on him massively, he got us to the promised land but I'll take honesty over anything and in Warnock we trust !!

I really wish he'd shut up and sell up. He was personally responsible for signing Velikonja and appointing a relative with no experience to a vital job. He almost destroyed our club with the appalling red kit and the Red stand is testimony to his own idiocy.
For all his faults, Malky got us up as champions and to the League Cup Final in Wembley.
His spending must've been sanctioned from above.

Slade and Trollope were Tan's appointments and he enthused about the worst manager ever,Solskjaer!
Who is the eejit?

The facts are the facts.....He was shit (Cornelius)

The question is whether you believe it was cock up or conspiracy. Was he just the wrong player at the wrong time at the wrong price or were too many people taking a "fee" for their involvement and business and football sense or responsibility went out the window.

We have done this to death on here, i just wish Vinny would let it go and put it down to experience.

Correct Cornelius was shit and yet only 14months ago we signed Ricky Lambert injured/only scored three goals in three years on £25,000 a week and approx £250,000 signing on fee(Wasted£2/£3mill just there, plus I can name 15 plus other players we have wasted £millions on since Malky, Malky not responsible for them, so who is?

Malky made an awful mistake, but so did Sir Alex Fergusson.

But rem this Malky also brought in £150mill plus for our club :thumbright: :thumb right:

What about all the free transfers Malky brought in to help us get to the Premiership in the first place to earn our club far more in excess of 10.5 million Tan?

I'm still awaiting for some solid, concrete evidence proving Malky did actually do anything wrong. It seems Tan is now moving the goalposts to just slating Malky's decision to sign Cornelius instead of actually accusing him of any wrong doings. The 10.5 million fee and a £45,000 a week wage was something SIMON LIM was 100% responsible for, as the Chief Executive signing off the transfer deals.

Spot on, i was willing to forget what a nasty person Tan was until this outburst yet again slating of Malky, not forgetting he hired OGS, Slade and Trolop even though he will say other wise. Joe Mason bought for 300K and eventually sold for 3.5 M most of his signings were sold for more than he paid for them. Tan just concentrate on the future the past has gone yes you have now got yourself a great manager so move on :bluebird:

I watched an interview with Mike Ashley earlier who said that he'd make a big mistake in changing the name of St James' Park and that he shouldn't have done it and was sorry... thought wouldn't it be nice if our owner would own up and apologise instead of giving us some bullshit about his mother's religion! I do think we would've stayed up with Malky but then I also think that would've prolonged the red.
I know! Slade was supposed to be to Cardiff what Wenger is to Arsenal   Tan really is clueless!

When Malky took over he had SIX outfield players. In two seasons we won the Championship by EIGHT POINTS with a goal difference of PLUS TWENTY-SEVEN GOALS. Add to that he earned the Club £120m for that promotion. Just as well City had that financial buffer after the signings of the Tan-led Transfer Committee that followed. Those are the facts.

Spot on Ross.

Also some fans say move on about Tan/Despicable Rebrand, broke our hearts etc, yet Tan continually slaughters Malky even after a great week and weekend. How about some positivity from Tan.

Plus how about Tans mistakes, 8 managers and 6 CEO'S incredible.
Plus Tan and His committee were still making costly mistakes last season and Tan has been doing this for 7 yrs,but never admits his own costly mistakes.

And Remember Malky is the only one who delivered a trophy/promotion/big crowds and brought in over £150mill to our club :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

No matter what anyone thinks about Malky, Malky delivered Success two years running and No one can say we would of def stayed up or gone down if Malky had been left alone :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Plus don't forget Tan made out Ole,Slade and Trollope were virtually the best managers and said each time We've finally got it right

What your conveniently forgetting Annis, is that all those mistakes came out of Tans pocket! He is the one who has put his money where his mouth is. If Tan appoints numerous CEOs and managers then its his investment that loses value. He employed Malky and trusted him with the money. Malkys arrogance got the better of him and he made poor judgments that financially have almost ruined the club. If I was Tan, I too would still be pissed off. cos he was too trusting and believed the Malky myth. Thank f^ck we now have a real manager in charge, who does not depend on bullshit. Wheres Malky ? back in his library reading "The Art Of War"?!!

Can we remember that the Interview with Tan was done PRIOR to kick-off so he did not have the game to talk about.

Just think context is needed here and none of the positives from the game had even happened at the time of the interview.

I say let him sulk about it for as long as we sulk about being turned red. I'd also say, lets shake hands on it and never talk about both topics again but I'm not sure I could if I'd lost so much money.

His lack of football knowledge was always going to be an issue if he had to rely on the people below him. Should have employed some more experts.

Im not forgetting we have received nearly £200mill from Sky etc and if the club had been run properly there would of not been any major losses.
You going on about Malky, he made Tan money over all and a lot. If it was not for Malky success, Tan would be deeper in financial shit a fact.

As you know, Tan has run Malky virtually out of football with his evilness and relentless attacks on him. Yes Malky now works for Scotland FA.

The Fact remains, Malky brought in way more money than he wasted and brought success.

And yes I am still pissed of that the club I followed and supported for 44 years, had the heart and soul taken out of it and stripped of its identity and we were ridiculed.

Rem Tan has virtually finished Malky off,so why the need then for Tan to be doing this on such an amazing week.

We had just beaten Pompey and Burton in less than 7 days :bluebird: :bluebird:

Also Rem its Tan again starting all this up again, not the fans :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

He's still frustrated, he invested a lot of money in the club, got to the premier league, and Malky wasted a lot of his money! And ultimately because of the poor signings, got us relegated.

I am sure if any of us made a large investment and left it up to a Manager that did a bad job and cost us a fortune we would feel the same!

He needs to let it go though now and move on now, it's negative and unnecessary, look forward and be positive about the improvements, and good job Warnock is doing !!!

You could not answer my reply, so you revert to name calling, your very very sad.

I am showing even a great manager like Sir Ferguson made some awful mistakes in his younger days.

But putting that aside, you never even replied,so reverted to namer calling, thats when u know uve lost a debate, better people like you stay on the name calling board, as you can't have a sensible debate.

So I would rather not give you my time or respect, so no need to comment on my posts :thumbright: :thumbright:

Manchester United flop Bebe: Sir Alex Ferguson told me he would make me a great player

Flop: Bebe struggled to make an impact at United (Image: Luke Walker/Gallo Images/Getty Images)
Manchester United flop Bebe has revealed Sir Alex Ferguson told him he would turn him into a great player during his stint at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese forward moved to the club in 2010, despite having only played in the Portuguese third division during his fledgling career.

Fergie famously admitted he had never seen Bebe play prior to splashing out £7million for his services as a 20-year-old.

Seven appearances followed in the next four seasons, which also included three loan spells away from the club, before he was let go by Louis van Gaal in 2014.

"Ferguson told me that he saw me as a talented boy and that he felt he could turn me into a great player," Bebe told the Daily Mail . "He immediately tried to work out my temperament and encourage me.

"I was asking Ferguson if I could play. He told me to keep calm, that I was very young and that opportunities would arrive. I still learned a lot in training from him. I was developing tactically."

Despite his lack of playing time with United, Bebe insists he wants to be remembered for the football he did play.

United fans comically chanted 'if Bebe scores, we're on the pitch', during his spell with the club, but he recalls the Red Devils faithful with fondness.

He added: "Yes, I remember that. The fans were also kind to me, though. I think they liked me."

This 10.5 million striker has since gone on to sign for Atalanta who finished 5th in Serie A last season.

As said Annis, Malky was a paid employee, he made money regardless, milinos in fact. Tan put his money on the line, no one else has?? It took a Malaysian to invest hugely in a Welsh club and all you want to do is W*nk over Malky. Leave it lie. Malky is history, Tan has a beef because he was ripped off and ridiculed. Tan f*cked up with the rebrand, granted. but he is still here and putting money in regardless, returned us to Blue, brought in the right manager and onward we go. He, should be allowed his grievance now and again, its the least we can afford him :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Leyston mate, just searched Frgie made dozens of mistakes in transfers costing f*cking mills, just one of many

JUAN SEBASTIAN VERON

When United paid £28 million to bring in Veron from Lazio in 2001, it broke the British transfer record.
He had won a league and Coppa Italia double with the Italian club in 2000 and had a big reputation, but he turned out to be a flop, with the speed of the game in England proving too fast for the Argentine.

Ferguson defended Veron in front of journalists. “He [Veron] is a f**king great player,” said Ferguson in 2002. “And you're all f**king idiots.”
Veron, though, was sold to Chelsea in 2003 for a relatively cut-price £15 million, right after United won the Premier League.
The Times listed him as one of both Chelsea and Manchester United’s 50 worst Premier League signings.

Gareth Williams:
MM delivered a league cup final and promotion in 2 seasons. For that he will be respected. Personally, I think Tan despises MM as he was more popular for those achievements.

What disappointed me yesterday was Tan lapping it up in front of the Grandstand and shaking hands with fans. I will never forgive him for ripping the heart and soul out of the club.

FACTS ARE FACTS, TWO AMAZING SEASONS & £150MILL PLUS BROUGHT IN TO OUR CLUB :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nice one, comparing Malky McKay to Alex Ferguson!! Deluded, or what !!

Are you seriously mentioning Malky and Alex Ferguson in the same sentence?? Your seriously comparing their transfer dealings?? I'm not calling you names Annis, I'm pointing out to you that your behavior is delusional.

You talk about 150 million coming into the club as if nothing went out!! Where do you think all the money has gone to? Certainly not a penny to Vincent Tan!

I am not happy with Malky over Cornelius deal, those awful transfers cost us our premiership spot, money cld of been spent better elsewhere. He messed up big time.. if people Sk Tan the question about MAlky then he is going to give his reply.. no big drama.
