If we sold Bennett surely City would be cutting it short for us at left back then??? Cant see it happening.Like others have said theres other player/positions we need to shift.

I've been away for a few days and this has come as a surprise (as I'm sure it has to others) as I would have thought Joe would be an integral part of the jig-saw for us this season

However, as we know all too well, every player has his price and it may be that Neil Warnock (in the words of Mauricio Pochettino) "Nobody will be leaving this club unless I am happy for them to do so!"

Why the hell is he only on a 2 million release clause? Get him to sign a new contract with a much higher release clause asap! I will feel physically sick if Fulham bring in Bennett for two fifths of the price they sold Scott Malone!

As a release clause has been mentioned, I'd be amazed if it's near £2m, never mind over it.
Also, as mentioned above if Fulham have sold Malone for £5m, then it's highly unlikely they are going to fork out anywhere near on a replacement.
Crazy world, this transfer malarchy though and for what it's worth I think Bennett is as good if not better than Malone.

To be fair if this is true. I'd trust Warnock's judgement on the new player. Look at NML from League 1.

Cash in. Play jazz there for now. More than able replacement. Cameron Coxe in reserve too. Worthy of a chance after his pre season.
