Firstly, a great start to the new season. Two wins out of two in the league, and through to the Second Round of the Carabao Cup
We all know that the season doesn't take shape until around ten games in, but it's a good start and that's promising
But one thing that's certain is our pre-season campaign was a good one. There were some on here doubting whether the quality of opposition we were playing were appropriate. Questions were asked whether we would be as ready for the new season as other Championship clubs, and that we may be playing catch-up.
On our early season form, this has been proven to be wrong. It proves that this side of Neil Warnock's traditional approach still works
He early results don't really give us a clear indication as to where we'll finish. It's a promising start, but that's all at this stage. Hopefully we can make it nine points from our first three league games on Tuesday night to continue the good form.
As a certain poster on here would say, there's no easy games in the Championship
But even the most pessimistic fan couldn't have any complaints so far.
