COSTA ‘EXPECTED BACK AT CHELSEA’

Chelsea expect Diego Costa to return the club and train, as per the terms of his contract, Sky Sports News understands.
The striker is currently in his native Brazil and has threatened to remain there rather than return to London, before leaving on a free transfer when his contract expires in two years’ time.
However, such a scenario is not acceptable to Chelsea, who expect Costa to return to the club, get back in training, get himself match-fit and put himself in contention for selection.
Costa has been fined two weeks' wages by Chelsea for failing to return to pre-season training with the club.
The 28-year-old was given an extra week off in the summer and was due to report back to training four weeks ago, on July 17.
