Welsh starlet Tom Lawrence signs for Derby County from Leicester City

Welsh starlet Tom Lawrence has signed on a long-term deal for Derby County for a fee believed to be £7mill.
The former Manchester United youth product joins for an undisclosed fee from Leicester City after impressing on loan at Ipswich Town last season.
He scored a string of stunning goals for the Tractor Boys last term to earn a spot in Chris Coleman's Wales squad.
Speculation has since been rife over Lawrence's next move, and he now joins Gary Rowett's promotion hopefuls at Pride Park on a permanent deal.
It ends any lingering hope that Lawrence would re-sign for Cardiff City, the club where he spent the latter part of the 2015/16 campaign on loan.
And it appears Lawrence will take the Rams' No.10 shirt after his signing was revealed via a Twitter video.
He becomes Derby's fourth signing of the summer — after Curtis Davies, Andre Wisdom and Tom Huddlestone — and could make his debut on Saturday as the Rams travel to Bolton Wanderers.

Shame that he never really picked up any substantial form on the few occasions that he played for us. Wish him the best from a Welsh football perspective. As long as the guy doesn't score against us.
Not worth the hefty price tag that I imagine they signed him for either. Reported £5m rising to £7m. Pretty sure he was worth £1m about a year ago
