My Opinion: " Wolves v Cardiff City this Saturday "

Wolves v Cardiff City Saturday 19th August 3pm Cardiff City have 2,500 tickets, No restrictions :bluebird: :bluebird:

' UPDATED ' Thursday 17th August 2017

Wolves are very dangerous in attack.

They have (1) Neves who they bought for £15.8 million in mid-field. He can pass , defend and score and is only 20yrs old. (2) Costa who cost £13 million who is a winger/striker - but I think/hope he is still injured. He is 23. If he is out I think they will play 23yr old Cavaliero who is v good. (3) 23yr old Bonatini is the cetral striker and scores at the rate of 1 in 2. (4) Jota winger/striker scores 1 in 3.

To beat them and Warnock can - we have to go shit or bust in the 2nd half - meaning attack their defence which is good but not as good as their attack.

They are mobile and fit but so are we. They can score but so can we. However we are more disceplined , better organised, far more experienced , have a better defence and on top of alk we have Warnock who knows when and how to change a game. If

We contain them the 1st half (and we can) the game is ours .

WOLVES : Cardiff Fans should really looking forward to it.

Half their team are under 23 and the other half is mid 20s. So no golden oldies .These guys are good , fit and will run all day - but we are very fit ourselves.

They play 3 at the back and a similar formation to us. Very attack minded. It might not be a weakness at all but personally I think they have too many foreigners who need to gel together . They started with 3 Portugese +2 French + 1 Brazil + 1 Nigeria. I hope Costa (Portugese) remains injured as he is pretty dangerous & scores bucket loads.

All in all very similar to us and definately will test our defence. We are more disciplined and super self confident.

One of Neil Warnocks many strengths is his substitutions - if plan A isn't working he will change the formation. On the other hand if we are ahead his subs will help close and kill the game . A very exciting game to come :thumbright:

Anyone know any live feeds or streams?

Massive test for us.

But we will lose games this season. And wolves away has to be one that many of us would've put down as one of them?

A draw would be a good result. If we lose and play well, still decent.

But we can do it! We're running through brick walls at the minute! Bluebirds!

If all fit I think we will go back to Saturdays line up with the back four.

I believe we will come away with a 2-0 victory.

Thought Villa would be our biggest test but they're in shambles so hard to gauge our strength realistically. But a win away at Wolves would surely make us a side truly to be fearful of.

Would have taken 2 wins and 2 draws from our opening 4 games which would be 8 points. Already ahead of the game, so anything at all from this one would be a bonus.

Wolves 1-2 City

First goal conceded however goals from Zohore and Tomlin will win it!

Funny how perceptions change as I thought the same.Youv'e go to say though that Wolves' start has been equally as impressive as ours so I'm hoping our abrasive edge will see us scape home 1-0.

This is where Warnock, Blackwell and Fenton will hopefully show how good they are tactically.

Wolves are flying at the moment and this game is going to be very different to all the other games we have played so far.

We will have a game plan and they will give Wolves all sorts of problems.

Forget all this settle for a draw nonsense...Wolves will have plenty of possession but let's see how they cope with the pace and power of our front 3 on the break

I'm going to go 2-1 City with Ralls, Gunner, Zahore, Morrison and Bamba fighting it out for MOM

Be a tough game this one. I agree with your point on them being a team from all over the world. Get stuck in early and show them what the championship is all about. :bluebird:

They're all kids " you won't win anything with kids" quoting Alan Hansen circa 1992.
Hopefully we can match them and get a draw , another clean sheet would be brilliant ;)
