Stayed in one of his hotels. Went up to the roof terrace expecting to interview him there... no... gold plated helicopter waiting! Took him to his private island where he landed on his £50m yacht. Tan met him in his red Cardiff shirt (this was back when we were red).

How does it feel to be owning Cardiff who are top?

That feels great but it’s early days. Very happy with NW, great job, understands that there is a lot of expenses and we can’t afford to spend too much! I said Neil we have to make do with what we have, you can spend some but not too much, spent about 3m this summer. WONT spend any more before window closes. Don’t need to spend big money, look at Leicester, 15m spent.

What do you like about NW?

I like that he’s frank and we have an understanding. Again says little money and no nonsense transfer like my previous managers had done.

What is your aim?

To get back in premier league, but can’t spent ridiculous money.

If the right buyer came along would you sell?

I’ve said it many times, if it makes sense will consider it, but not now. I have put in 180m/118m? pounds so what do you think? Wants to get to premier league and stay there for 3 or more seasons to make money back!

No not really, I cant afford to spend silly money!

Not looking to spend anymore on players this window, only possibility is if one player is sold a replacement t will be purchased.

Likes NW because he understands value for money, and there is no transfer 'nonsense' like with his other managers

Wants to get back to premiship like all other teams, but won't overspend to do it as not needed, team sprit and hardwork more important used Leicester as an example

Will sell for a reasonable offer, however not likely as invested £180m and more each month, wants to get to prem and stay there for 2-3 years to be able to get a return on investment
