Just checked their forum. They're slating their defense and say all of Partick's attacks were down their left side attacking John. Looks like John struggled sadly.

I watched it on BT and he did ok for a debut.

Declan played a part in both goals for Rangers.
If he's given a licence to go forward like he continually did throughout game then he can be caught out of position on the counter attack, which did happen.
First game for Rangers, and he did well. He's an exciting player to watch going forward and think as a lot of Cardiff fans do, further up the field is his best position.

:| That's always been his problem, good going forward but lacking in his core role as a defender.

Unlike super Kev who was a good defender, good going forward, but lacked distribution, that didnt matterr as much as his core role was to defend and he did that well.

You've gotta get the basics right, that's the diffrence as stated above

When is he going to get a chance on the wing? Great going forward, not so great in defence.. Used to be a winger, it's not rocket science surely?
