The 20-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start to the season with six goals in 10 games from the wing.

Swansea City have made Morgan a target, according to the Daily Mail, but they would face stiff competition from Scottish heavyweights Celtic and Rangers if they were to make their move.

Cardiff City are also said to be interested with Morgan expectedly available for a reduced price.

The Scotland under-21 international has less than a year remaining on his current deal and St Mirren will struggle to hold onto him in his current form.

Having said that, the Scottish Championship club have already rejected a £200,000 bid from Burton Albion in the summer transfer window.

Morgan joined St Mirren from the Rangers academy in 2014 and having fired St Mirren to top of the Scottish Championship with six goals from out wide, he could be just months away from returning to a higher level.

St Mirren won’t want to lose Morgan, especially if he continues his current form, but with his contract running out, if the 20-year-old does want to leave, they may have little choice but to take the cash in January.
