Reading vs. Cardiff City has been selected for live Sky Sports coverage.
The Bluebirds will now face the Royals on Monday, 11th December 2017 - 8pm kick-off at the Madejski Stadium.
This fixture was originally scheduled to take place at 3pm on Saturday, 9th December 2017.
Ticket information, and further details, will be announced in due course.
£20 Adults and Cardiff's allocation 4,000 tickets
Ned, the good news is, its 8pm, you can get there in less than an hour & half from Cardiff (So need to take day off work & No park football) and its only £20 an Adult
Hopefully 3,000 plus will go to this short journey, our allocation is 4,000

Annis, we should still get a decent amount of support there.
As you say, tickets are only £20 which is great value.
One of only two away games in December as well.

Thomas, it should actually give us a bigger away following as fans can work and leave from work, plus no kids at park football.
Many Neath/Port Talbot Bluebirds are going to this one and still going to work
Night games are always the best atmopsheres

Exactly Annis, I think some fans just like to make excuses regardless. Think we'll pull a big one as we always do at Reading and I agree, would be better atmosphere under the floodlights - much prefer it! Nice cold December night

Ned, I honestly don't see any reason why 3,000 plus City fans won't be there
It will stop some, but then, theres plenty who say they can't make Saturdays because of work/park football etc
When I lived in Castleton it took me 1hr & 10mins to get to Reading's ground. Vince Alms coaches not leaving till 5pm
Its straight up the M4 just of it
Sheffield United/ Leeds United travelled in big numbers to us on a Tuesday night, Reading is up the road for many in my opinion and easy for the hundreds of London City fans as well
I've also heard it could be as low as £5 for under 16's great value.

Annis, I agree we should have a big following regardless of the change of day - especially if we’re still doing well. We had a big following at Man Utd on a midweek night in January a few years ago.
And for fans like me, these days can be better due to sometimes having difficulties with Saturdays. Like you say, you also have those who can go to the match after work and be back for a reasonable time.
Great ticket prices.

No fans get dicked about as much as us!

Leeds fans wouldn't agree with your final sentence.

The difference is Leeds have the 2 Sheffield's, Barnsley, Preston, Bolton and Hull around them. Each of those trips can't be much more than 1 hour away.
Then there is Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Nottingham, Derby and Burton which are all shorter than 2 hours away while Villa, Birmingham and Wolves are barely 2 hours as well. That's half the league, so I'm sure Leeds fans won't be overly concerned if a few of those games get moved, as there are still plenty of other local away games around for them.
What do we have? Unlike Leeds, every away game will be over 2 hours minimum for us. Bristol City away will be 2-3 hours with the police involvement, so our next nearest is Reading, which is the game Sky have chosen to move!
It doesn't surprise me, I will never forget Sky switching our Premiership game at Sunderland to midday on a Sunday! The fixture lists mean nothing these days. It's pointless looking forward to any fixtures with Sky interfering and spoiling everything!
