WALES V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND: SUPPORTER INFORMATION

Monday 8th October 2017

Wales play Republic of Ireland on Monday (9 October) in the final Group D qualifying match for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in front of another sell-out crowd at Cardiff City Stadium (KO 7.45pm).
The FAW recommend that fans make their way as early as possible to the stadium and entertainment will be available on the Spirit of ’58 stage. Confirmed acts are as follows:

Spirit of ‘58 Stage:

17:45 – 18:15 – DJ Set
18:15 – 19:00 – The Riff
19:00 – 19:30 – DJ Set
Lidl:

17:45 - 19:30 – DJ / Compere

Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau is being fully handed over to the fans when the teams come out for the anthems ahead of kick off. We’ll start you off in the stadium before we turn the music down for your passion to make the noise.

The stadium operates a 'Drink not Drunk' policy and anyone is too intoxicated will not be permitted entry. Alcoholic beverages will be available from the concourse kiosks prior to kick off.

For fans travelling by car, a Park & Ride service will operate from the car park located at Pierhead Street, Cardiff Bay (CF10 4PH). The parking charge is £4. Buses will run to the stadium from 5:15pm until 7:45pm and for 60 minutes after the final whistle.

There will also be a shuttle bus operating between Wood Street in the town centre and the stadium between the times stated above.

Many coaches have been booked into the Stadium Coach Park for Saturday’s game and they will be given priority to leave promptly after the match. For enquiries on coach parking at future games, please contact Adam Gilliatt (adam.gilliatt@cardiffcityfc.co.uk) for more information.

Matchday programmes will be on sale in the following locations:

Gate 4
Gate 16
Ninian Stand (Inside)
Walk way opposite Main Reception
Level 4 in Ninian Stand
Ticket collection booth between Gates 3 & 4
Cardiff City Supporters Club

It is also urged that fans make every attempt to be in their seats by 7:00pm to show the Wales squad support when they come out onto the pitch for their pre-match warm-up.
