MOYES EYEING SCOTLAND ROLE

13/10/17

David Moyes would welcome the chance to speak to the SFA about the vacant Scotland manager's job, Sky Sports News understands.

Moyes is the early Sky Bet favourite to succeed Gordon Strachan, who lost the job on Thursday after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup - a third successive tournament.
Former Everton and Manchester United boss Moyes has been out of work since losing his job at Sunderland in the summer, after they were relegated to the Championship in May.
The 54-year-old Glaswegian represented Scotland at U18 level as a player but has not been in charge of a team in his home country since turning to management in 1998.
He played for Celtic for three years early in his career before spells with Dunfermline Athletic and Hamilton Academical later on.
