ASTON VILLA DEFENDER JOHN TERRY OUT FOR THREE MONTHS
Sunday 5th November 2017
Aston Villa have been dealt a huge blow in their quest for promotion with the news that defender John Terry will miss up to three months with a broken bone in his foot.
In a report by GetWestLondon, it confirms that Terry is set to miss Villa’s trip to QPR in two weeks time, which would have been a first return to West London since leaving Chelsea for the former England skipper, and that he will also be out for three months with the injury.
The news will be a bitter blow to Villa manager Steve Bruce, who has seen Terry become a focal point of the club’s defence as the club have mounted a charge on the playoff places, before coming unstuck against Sheffield Wednesday yesterday afternoon.
Terry was a shock signing for the Villans in the summer but has become a mainstay of the team after getting off to a tricky start initially. His injury will be a massive kick in the teeth for Bruce and the Villa fans, who had been hoping Terry would be the man to lead them to success over the Christsmas period.

Was expecting this about now, not a broken bone but muscular problems. The championship is a physically tough league with many Sat/Tues/Sat weeks. For a soon to be 37 year old with no chance of rotation like in the premier league this was going to be a tough season.
But, Villa have massive resources i am sure they have adequate back up
