" A Jacks Opinion of Americans buying the Lease "

Tue Nov 07, 2017 3:05 pm

I was emailed this today.

This is final jewel in the crown for the Americans.

I believe this is what they always wanted. Leasing the stadium will hugely increase the value of the club they have bought.

They have a drag along rights to the Trust shares and probably Jenkins and Morgan as well. This means all the shares can be sold so a single investor will have total control when they sell. Ideal scenario for them.

More money for the Trust shares and probably the 2 scumbags as well.

The only issue now is keeping the Swans in the premiership otherwise the share value will plummet.

This is typical Levien he did this in DC united. I suspect the Swans will be in far eastern ownership this time next year with the trust having no involvement if the Swans stay up.

Well the yanks are not stupid wouldn't be surprised if they looked at couple of scenarios before they bought into club! Problem is council dont lose out but what about the club? Cannot see yanks spending over 30m for extension with no security of premiership its just talk to appease fans ! No mention of putting money into club just look at players brought in 2 signings 2 loans and 4 under 23 players hardly likely to keep them in premiership. :o

They'll need to get their cheque books out and get in Sam Allardyce very soon if they want to have Premier League football next season. did anyone explain to them that there is such a thing as relegation? Only they don't have it in American sport. :o

That's true, they've got a club to sale with agreement to the lease, it's a bit like obtaining planning permission before you sell a house, it will increase the price, because the potential buyer will have more options and can make the house/stadium bigger if they want to.

No doubt they are in it to make money if they can, pretty precarious position at the moment though, inexperienced Manager who looks totally lost, no set playing style, a shit squad and their 2 new big signings didn't get a pre season and ones on a massive decline after earning a fortune and not playing and the other has his way and has also hardly played.

I just hope Pullis doesn't get the sack and go there to save them...........

The squad doesn't look good enough and can't ses pulis going before Jan! And if swans get rid of Clements before then struggle to get quality manager in as relegation real possibility. :laughing6:
