Real Madrid have confirmed that Gareth Bale has suffered a setback in his bid to recover from a calf injury.

The Welshman felt discomfort in his left leg at the end of Thursday's training session, which will heighten speculation over the player's future at the club.

Madrid will continue to monitor his recovery, after being diagnosed with a strain in the middle third of the adductor longus muscle in his left leg.

I heard Bellamy say its due to the way he's trained at Real Madrid and because he's runs at full pace in games more than other players that he shouldn't be training the same as everyone else as that is effecting his muscles. Maybe leaving Real is the best for him.

Think on Talk sport, they said that he has missed 40 out of the last 60 RM games, cant see him being there another season tbh.
