Nottingham Forest ask Birmingham City for more tickets as fans snap up 2,500 for St Andrew’s clash -

Nottingham Post

Tuesday 14th November 2017

Such has been the demand for Saturday’s trip to Birmingham City that Nottingham Forest have asked for extra tickets for the St Andrew’s clash.

The Reds’ initial allocation of 2,000 had been snapped up and over the weekend an extra 500 were sold, taking the travelling contingent inside the Gill Merrick Stand to 2,500.

Forest go into the game on the back of a thumping 4-0 win over QPR, their best victory under boss Mark Warburton, to make it four wins in their last six league outings, and will come up against a Birmingham side struggling under ex-Reds boss Steve Cotterill.

That's a decent following fair play, just to put it into context though, Nottingham to Birmingham is the same distance as my house in South Wales to Bristol.

Nevertheless good following, those scabs sure are blessed when it comes to Away days geographicaly speaking.

The scabs are sat nicely right in the middle of the country and are the team, no matter what division they will be in, will always have the least travel distance for away games. 1984-85 :bluebird:
