Got a feeling Nathan Jones (Luton Town) may be mentioned at some point.

That's a really good shout.

Young Welsh manager building a big reputation.

Page or Jackett would be OK with me.

I think we have to be realistic unless Pulis gets the sack

Doesn't have to be a big name, just an organised manager with good tactics and man management.

If Warnock was available...

Maybe Mick McCarthy will get the sack ...

Its got to be someone who will bring the youngsters through. I wouldn't mind it being Henry if we could afford him to be honest as he would play decent football. A big no to Giggs from me too.

Malky Mackay anyone?

The qualified coach has to be Alladyce BUT the FAW won’t be able to afford him.

For me Page or a Younger manager looking to make his name is the best option my only worry is whether they’ll have the respect from the players who probably may have/ could achieve more in their own playing careers

I wouldn’t mind Giggs. Learnt from the best ever manager and will instantly have the respect of the players which is so important. Pulls won’t earn enough to do it and we might end up like Ireland with style. Terry Henry? Earns far more from Sky than we would ever pay him.

When Giggs played for Wales the disparity between our friendlies and the games Giggs was involved in for United was huge and he was prone to injuries. Not defending him just stating no wonder Sir Alex pulled him out.

Lots of talk on the radio that Pullis is on his way out of West Brom.
Rumours only I think.

Tony P for me. He'll devise a system to get the most out of our talent. He has only been given assignments to either get promoted from the championship or remain in the premier league using whatever methods he see's fit to the budget of the clubs......

What we dont want is a journey man manager? Need someone to bring on the undoubted talent we will have for next 8yrs :old:

Remember Terry Yorath was Wales & Swansea Manager perhaps given that example then Pulis could come into the frame with Bellers as his No.2 and the FAW could afford to pay him and Bellers does the leg work mill age the job entails. That would be my first choice, second choice offer Sparky the same deal failing that maybe a foreign Manager with World Cup Qualifying on his C.V and that could work. That list doesn't offer much optimism to me.

its pretty obvious the FAWs number 1 choice was Coleman.
and had they had the financial clout to compete with cash strapped Sunderland he would still be the manager...

yet some people think wanting premier league managers from financially secure clubs is reasonable... :laughing5: :laughing5:

First choice for me would be Bellamy with a experianced #2 like pulis if he fancied a second job .

Left field choice - Aitor Karanka the ex middlesbrough manager would bs a decent appointment and probably affordable . Always thought he did well at boro and plays good football.

Given the money being suggested i think we are looking at a guy new to management or a risk at a lower level manager stepping up.

Not Giggs!!!

He was very selective when he wanted to play for Wales as a player has no management experience and would be a huge backwards step.
