The Bluebirds owned the first half whilst Brentford played the passing game, Cardiff had other plans and took Brentford by the sword and scored the 1st goal in the 1st half with Joe Ralls scoring, smashing the ball into the net of Brentford's, but then afterwards Brentford had a golden chance to equalise against the Bluebirds, when goalkeeper Eithridge passed to defender Sean Morrison, but could not find his feet and lost the ball, then after that Brentford's top striker had an open net after the ball went away from the keeper and the only player in the net was Bamba, and then he shoots and missed in which could be the worst miss in the EFL this season.
But overall Cardiff needed to get the job done by getting the 3 points against Brentford and it was a job well done, onto the next 3 big games, Barnsley, Nottingham Forest away and Norwich at Home.
