Cardiff striker Kenneth Zohore is again ruled out after having minor foot surgery. But Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock expects Zohore - who has not played since mid-October - to be back within the next fortnight after having scar tissue removed from his heel.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing could return after limping out of the defeat to Bristol City and missing subsequent wins over Brentford and Barnsley. Omar Bogle completes a three-match ban as long-term absentees Jazz Richards and Kadeem Harris edge closer to full fitness.

25/11/17

Kenneth Zohore/ Mendez-Laing both out injured, could be both back for Norwich City home :thumbright:

Rhys Healey and Kadeem Harris both out injured.

Joe Bennett and Aron Gunnarsson both fully fit :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

About Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest Football Club is a professional football club in West Bridgford, England, which plays in the Championship, the second tier of English football, having been promoted from League One in 2008. The club, often referred to as Forest, have played home matches at the City Ground since 1898.

Founded in 1865, Forest were founder members of the Football Alliance in 1889 and joined the Football League in 1892. Since then, they have mostly competed in the top two League tiers, bar five seasons in the third tier. Forest won the FA Cup in 1898 and 1959. Their most successful period was under the management of Brian Clough between 1975 and 1993, winning the League in 1978 and back to back European Cups in the two years after, plus four League Cups and two Full Members Cups.

Since 1898 Nottingham Forest have played their home games at the City Ground in West Bridgford, on the banks of the River Trent. Since 1994 the stadium has been all-seater, a preparation that was made in time for the ground to be a venue for Euro 96, and currently has a capacity of 30,445.

The City Ground is 300 yards away from Notts County's Meadow Lane stadium, on the other side of the Trent. The two grounds are the closest professional football stadia in England and the second closest in the United Kingdom after the grounds of Dundee and Dundee United. When built, the ground was within the boundaries of Nottingham, which had been made a city the previous year and gave rise to the name of the stadium. A boundary change in the 1950s meant that the City Ground is now no longer within the city of Nottingham whilst Notts County's ground is.

Prior to moving into the City Ground, Forest played their home games at Forest Recreation Ground, then Trent Bridge, and finally the purpose-built Town Ground.

Nottingham Forest on fire

Forest have won their last four games at home, and are aiming for four clean sheets in succession at the City Ground for the first time in seven years. The last team to score there were Sheffield United, three minutes shy of six hours of football ago.

Warnock vs Forest fans

NEIL WARNOCK:

"I have friends who are season ticket holders at the City Ground, they’re looking forward to it, they think they’ve turned the corner from last year and they have."

"I just hope they’re disappointed on Sunday night. But you haven’t got too long to dwell on it because we’ve got a game Friday."

"That’s the Championship, it’s very intense."

"There’s no easy games in this league - but it won’t be easy for them either, that’s how I look at it."

Cardiff have 2,500 tickets :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Hoping for at least 1000 bluebirds to travel. Ill be there

Good on you Sam :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Sam, there should be realistically 1,500 :thumbright: :bluebird:

Hope so Annis. The team deserve our support. 2nd in the league who would have thought it. I think we have the best manager in the league and a set of players that dig in week in week out.

Sam, they do without a doubt and it should be 1,5000, but I very doubt it.

The ref is Peter Banes.

He refereed us away at Sunderland this season plus away at Forest when he sent off Marshall but we won.

Hope he is not taking in by any diving from that nasty piece of work Jamie Ward.

Got to keep an eye that Everton loanee Dowell from who looks decent plus that winger NW tried to buy, Mackay.

You still have a chance to phone for tickets tomorrow and pick up the tickets from the ground. The stewards will have them on them.

Another hard game solitary goal from Sean Morrison will keep us in 2nd!!

Watching most of the tv programs we continue to go under the radar and it's nearly Dec??

Long may it continue

You will be able to pick up pre bought tickets from Cardiff stewards at the city ground if you buy them today, just not available tomorrow to buy on the day
