The Canton stand benches is where me and my dad sat in the early seventies. 2 white lines with a little number in the corner denoted your 12" or so of bench. Its often puzzled me since what happened if you turned up and your seat was beneath a couple of overweight people either side. I don't ever remember it being an issue.
