Middlesbrough and Leeds United fans turn on former Swansea City boss Garry Monk after latest social media post

The boss told Boro fans performances haven't been good enough - and they responded

Middlesbrough boss Garry Monk is having a tough time of it of late, judging by the responses to his latest tweet.

The former Swansea City manager, who took over the job at the Riverside in the summer, wrote a message to Boro fans and posted it on Twitter.

And the responses were rather blunt indeed.

Middlesbrough, relegated from the Premier League last season, are currently struggling in the Championship after three defeats in the last four - including a loss to Monk's former club Leeds.

Just had a look on Planet Slums. They sure don't like Monkfish much. Apparently, he destroyed their 'pure' style of football. Ho. Ho. Ho.

Did an average job at Swansea and its when he was appointed that they went away from their passing, possession orientated football that Swansea fans enjoyed and player under Martinez, Sousa, Rodgers and Laudrup to defensive direct football which they are playing now which I think he is responsible for. He did a good job at Leeds but bottled it and left them for the money. But the job he's doing at Boro is embarrassing. When they got relegated they already had very good championship players that had got them promoted, and then Monk went and spent another 40-50m only to be 7th and playing more crap football. Guy should be sacked, and Boro should at least be in the top 4. They should have done what Burnley did with Dyche and stuck with Aitor Karanka.

i think unless they are in the top 6 or at least much nearer the top 6 than at present he will ge gone by the new year.
