RYAN GIGGS: WALES MANAGER IS THE JOB I NATURALLY WANT “

Saturday 9th December 2017

By Paul Abbandonato

Ryan Giggs has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Wales job.

The Welsh legend is one of the leading names on the FAW wish list and has been approached for the post before.

Manchester United playing commitments ruled him out then but Giggs told Sky Sports: "Of course I’m interested.

"I’ve played for Manchester United and I’ve played for Wales so those are naturally the two jobs I want to do.

"I’ve not spoken to anybody at the Welsh FA yet but yes I’m interested."

Craig Bellamy, Tony Pulis and Chris Coleman’s No2 Osian Roberts are others who would like the Wales job.

France legend Thierry Henry has also been linked.

A number of former Wales stars have told the FAW to go for Giggs including ex-Wales boss Mark Hughes.

For me having Giggs has manager would be a massive backwards step by the Welsh FA.

I also don't like his attitude and he has No passion or care for Wales in my opinion.

Coleman was not wanted on here but look how that turned out? Thankfully this MB is irrelevant when it comes to choice of new Wales manager.

You didn’t rate or want Coleman either Annis so hopefully if Giggs does get it you are wrong on this one too.

Neil, Still not a massive fan of Coleman, Yes I totally Respect him for the Euros, but not a massive fan and Giggs even less of a fan of him, at least Coleman had done a fairly good job at club management first.

Whilst i agree that Giggs shouldn't be manager I'd question your statement about how Welsh he is.
Born and lived in Cardiff to a Welsh mother and a Welsh father. A father who represented Wales in rugby league, a brother called Rhodri and giggs himself has over 60 caps for wales just at senior level. I mean just what more would you want for him to qualify as Welsh??

Neither Speed or Hughes managed at club level first and Giggs was no 2 at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Coleman didn’t set the world alight.

Didn’t you say you wanted Bellamy Annis?

Hence why I put a question mark. It was a question not a statement.

Who do you want?

Of course it’s your right however I think they will go for Giggs and I personally think he will be successful. He will have the respect of the players which will be massive.

I honestly don't know as the Welsh FA have been daft in my opinion by ruling out an English manager.

Tony Pulis only because the Welsh FA have said the manager has to be Welsh, they have limited themselves and are still living in the dark ages.

At least he is a proven club manager at the highest level.

100% don’t want Giggs. Bellamy or Henry would be a massive gamble as well.

The only sensible option on the realistic list of candidates is Tony Pulis, but I worry they’ll give it to Giggs, Henry or Bellamy.

f**k giggs not committed as a player and hasn't got nowhere near the experience required to run and manage our national side so I suggest the wfa fuckoff and do one

Dave Lewis:
Sometimes can f**k right off the MANC WANK. Maybe if c**t had turned up to play for us instead of fingering Ferguson, how could the players look up to him as a manager. Can't be arsed to turn up for Wales because he's tampering with his brothers mrs.
