Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes Reading FC are finally hitting form but has backed them to become unstuck against Cardiff City on Monday night.

The two teams face off in a highly-anticipated Championship clash at Madejski Stadium (8pm kick-off).

Royals are unbeaten in four while the Bluebirds are on a four-game winning streak.

Prutton reckons the latter's run could continue in Berkshire as they continue their push for automatic promotion.

Writing in his predictions' column for Sky Sports, the former Leeds United and Southampton midfielder said: "Very few people seem to be talking about Cardiff despite the fact they sit second in the table.

"That will please Neil Warnock though as he'll be more than happy to keep going about his business under the radar.

"Reading have won their last two going into this game on Monday night and look to finally be hitting some form under Jaap Stam.
