Bham night out ( non football related )

I've got a meeting in bham city centre Thursday and staying over night for a works Christmas meal.
Just wondering If anyone in the area knows the best place on a Thursday night for a good drink

just head for broad street near the centre that's' where you'll find the pubs and clubs a bit like our st mary street with some good places around the canal . places like walkbouts , o,neils and a bierkeller etc to quench your thirst . they have got a outdoor german market around new street this time of the year which is pretty decent

Loads of good bars down by the canal
Be At One is a cocktail bar by New street station. Great laugh for a group night out.
Not ideal on a football trip though
