Tonight gives Cardiff City a big opportunity.
If we win, we will move to within two points of Wolves. More importantly, we will go six clear of Bristol City and eight clear of Derby County. The gap over Aston Villa and Sheffield United would be nine points, while being 13 points clear of Leeds - who are the team just outside the top six.
A defeat would also see us remain 2nd, but be five points behind Wolves and just three above Bristol City.
No doubt it will be a difficult match tonight due to Reading’s improved form, but a huge opportunity ahead of the Christmas period
