Annis, straight question... Do you think we can afford him?

I am certain Grabbon's loan would not have been terminated unless a permanent deal had been agreed with someone. Hopefully it's City.

Hmmm yes we can wages, if Jack, Warnock offloads players like Pilks.

Wages yes but what kind of money do they want for him?

If we are going to sign a midfielder for a substantial fee, I can't see us bidding for Grabban. Not surprised about Wolves , who have lots of options up front already.

If they’ve recalled him from Sunderland to cash in during window then it’s pretty obvious we’re out of the running. We have next to nothing to offer up front in cash, and Sunderland were already paying his wages. They wouldn’t be in a much better postion giving him to us for best part of nothing.

Next.

Have read that Warnock has declared interest but the price their asking isn't what Warnock is prepared to pay the price.

This from someone ITK on a Bournemouth forum who is well respected from a few threads I read on there.

That's why I said 'do you think' not just 'can we'. I was asking his opinion. Based on the fact he's one of the top championship strikers, I think he's out of our price range/spending policy. I hope I'm wrong though!

This has been my point since the beginning. He went to Bournemouth for 10m. I think warnock and our fans are dreaming tbh

I think he's probably on about 30k ? can't be any more surely ?

If we get rid of pilks we could offer 20k / 25k and a promotion bonus.
Depends if he wants to play football and possibly gain another promotion or if he's happy to sit on the bench elsewhere :thumbright:

If a bigger club wants him they'll get him , we aint going to get someone of his calibre on the cheap .

Do we want promotion ? Need to spend some bigger money , appreciate FFP and balance books which is why we need to get rid of players maybe first ?

And what do you propose we pay Bournemouth for this player?.. :?

He was recalled from his loan spell to be sold. I can't believe people are still discussing it as an option.

They aren't skint mate - loan with option to buy or a small fee with further amounts over the next year or two?

Its all speculation anyway - he's probably off to play for Valencia :laughing5:

I'd bet my house on us not having Grabban at Cardiff after the 31st of Jan
