Just flicking through twitter, is there any legs in this supposed rumour of a signing big than Bellamy?

Seen Tony Rivers backed it up and Roathboy(full of crap most of the time)?

Not wishing to stir the pot of a rumour.........

Okay I will.

Van Persie only commanded a fee of around 4 million when signing for Fenerbache in 2015, he is 34 years old and his contract is up at the end of this season.

Everything there would suggest he would be available to a Championship team.

;) ;)

I don't think so

Even if we could afford him I just can't see him fitting into a Warnock team demanding workrate. This is probably just a Twitter conversation that gathered legs with more people joining in.

That said, he's still got a hell of a current goals per game ratio   :ayatollah:

Apparently he wants 50k plus a nice promotion bonus.

Dont shoot the messenger as I don't believe it. Like when I said earlier it was him

Well given his track record and this would be for less than 5 months even if we ended up in the play-offs, I'd say that would be well worth a gamble at that price. He's probably a safer and cheaper bet than Lambert !!!!!

As you say, difficult to believe this one but stranger things have happened ................. anyone remember a frontline (albeit very brief) of Hasselbank, Fowler and Sinclair

I'm not sure what's going on. But there's been a few quotes from the manager saying hes talking to championship club. BUT I'm thinking it's more of a poor translation

If zlatan could bang them in in the premiership when he was 35/36 then RVP will bang them in in the championship at 34, would be an amazing signing, would also boost crowds and shirt sales could be a good signing for business aswell as football so go on vinny go and get him fella!!

People are literally losing their shit over these rumours and are only going to be disappointed and then have a go at the club over it.

Everything I've wrote can be found online. Im not saying in ITK. I also believe there's more chance of me playing for Cardiff than RVP
