BRADFORD CITY FC:

We’re calling on City fans to unite in their support for the Club at Bristol Rovers on Saturday - and we’ll do our bit by paying for you to get there!

On Saturday we travel to Bristol Rovers for another important League One fixture. Following two disappointing results, Saturday is a huge opportunity to get back to winning ways.

With an injury-hit squad, Stuart and the team need all the support we can give. As a club, we're working tirelessly to bring in new faces to bolster the squad as soon as possible. However, deals take time to be done and in the meantime it’s important we don’t lose momentum at this crucial stage of the season.

Chief Operating Officer James Mason said: “We really hope this offer of free travel will allow hundreds of other fans to make the trip to Bristol to show their support for the team.

“Supporters show their true worth at tough times and although we are still in fifth position in the league, we know things have been difficult in the last couple of weeks.

“It's crucial that we all rally behind the boys in the best way possible - and that’s by travelling in numbers to Bristol and providing the magnificent noise and colour that City fans are famous for.

“We know that going all the way to Bristol from Yorkshire is still a huge, full-day commitment and having spoken to Stefan, Edin, Stuart and Greg today, we would all like to show our thanks to the supporters with the free travel. If it means more people can now make the trip then this can only help the team.’'

The game on Saturday will be City’s second long trip to the South West in a fortnight, after the Emirates FA Cup fixture at Yeovil.

“Our fans were brilliant at Yeovil and already more than 300 have bought tickets for Bristol. I know many more will be planning to go as we took over 700 fans to the same fixture last season. If we can get that kind of backing for the boys again on Saturday I know it would provide a huge boost to the team.

“Like many other City fans, Edin and I have spent many hours travelling up and down the country to follow our club. And you as supporters have rallied together when things haven’t been going to plan. Whether it’s been a bad run of results or when the future of the club was in doubt you have been there. We'll do our bit behind the scenes. Please show your support from the stands.

"We're in this together. Back the owners, back Stuart and back the players who represent us.”
