TRANSFER NEWS: GRABBAN CLOSE? GRUJIC CLOSE?

Lewis Grabban looks like he is looking forward to the challenge at Cardiff City as the Bluebirds boss admits that he is trying to tie down a crucial signing before Sheffield Wednesday tie on Sky this Saturday, this is huge for the Bluebirds as Grabban has pace and skill and of course can score lots of goals for the Bluebirds, something Cardiff need as Zohore is on a dry spell.

Liverpool youngster Grujic is close also to join the Bluebirds on loan and with the match on Saturday and crucial FA Cup Tie against Premier League leaders Manchester City, manager Neil Warnock could potentially rest a few players ahead of the big cup match against Man City but the focus has to be the main goal and that is of course reaching the 2nd spot in the EFL Championship.

Twitter is awash with other clubs fans saying, if these come off then Cardiff City are showing real intent.

If we got these two and we already have the Norwich guy then that would be brilliant business. Just shows you don't need to spend stupid money in January to improve on what you got.

I would expect some decent signings this week. Due to Warnocks words. He mentioned how the club and Tan have done well this season. I don't think he'd praise a guy if he wasn't backing him.

Will be well pleased if these two signings materialise
