What are the rules now for penalty shoot outs? I thought it was the abba rule but in the chelsea v norwich shoot out they used the old abab?

I think ABBA was only trialled for EFL competitions, whereas the FA Cup is an FA competition.

Seemed to confuse the BBC commentators as well. Not sure which system I prefer but it's supposed to make it more fair
