Good read and closer to the truth :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

This fella was a character back in the 90s and was probably the legend that brought the Ayatollah to the city games.
He used to get everyone to sit down on the terraces at away games then urge them to stand up slowly leading to the Ayatollah and jumping about :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Does he still follow the city? :ayatollah:

"There was an end of season Ayatollah fancy dress party at Peterborough where myself and another Ayatollah were encouraged by police to preach from the fences, and judge the great cross-terrace Ayatollah races. The Ayatollah was now firmly established."

I was at that game. At the time I was living abroad in the Middle East but managed to come home for a few games. Peterborough away was one of those games and it was the first time I saw evidence of the Ayatollah. I have clear images of this guy preaching and instructing us how to do it. At the end of the game a number of us ran onto the pitch, ran around the 18 yard box we were stood behind and just basically carried out the Ayatollah many many times. It is those moments you know you have picked the right club.
