Having landed one Liverpool youngster on loan, Neil Warnock might have been tempted to head back to another Anfield prospect - namely Ben Woodburn.

The Wales international had been linked with loan moves to the Championship - with Chris Coleman’s Sunderland particularly interested - but it appears that the 18-year-old will not be leaving Merseyside this month.

According to reports, it seems that Jurgen Klopp will hold onto Woodburn having already sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
