I think Wildschut was causing them all sorts of problems in the first half and he was struggling fitness wise in the 2nd before eventually being replaced. Personally I’d have taken him off a bit earlier as this helped Wednesday gain a foothold.
This pretty much coincided with Grujic setruggling with his finest too.
Basically imho 2 players began to struggle at the same time and this meant that Wednesdays 5 man midfield gained the upper hand. This and the fact that their manager probably told them to sort themselves out getting tighter to us etc.
That’s my opinion anyway.
