ARE CARDIFF SIMILAR TO LIVERPOOL? COULD THE BLUEBIRDS WIN?

Postby Sam ReaN » Mon Jan 22, 2018 6:36 pm

Cardiff play an attacking game and so does Liverpool, forget about the talent in the squad. Liverpool pressed Man City and so of course the team in light blue made a couple of mistakes and so on, Cardiff have got players like Lang an Hoilett to press Manchester City players, and could potentially beat Man City.

Both Cardiff and Liverpool play attacking football
Both Cardiff and Liverpool press opponents to make mistakes
Both Cardiff and Liverpool have got goal scorers and pacey players

So are the Bluebirds the same as Liverpool? in a weird way I think so.

Yes The Bluebirds Cardiff will fly high, way up to the Blue moon and absolute beat them.

The fitness levels of Liverpool players is on a different level to those of any Championship club.

Liverpool have one of the best fitness levels in the Premier League.

We’ll probably set up to defend - from the back. Liverpool have the quality to defend from the front.

The answer to the first question is that they are as similar to each other as I am financially to Bill Gates.
The Bluebirds could win, but I don't think for one minute that any person in the country, apart from one or two on this forum, think that they will win.

If Man city play like they did against Bristol and Newcastle we will have a chance of it being a close game if we play to our maximum.
Anything else and it could be a hammering.

If we set up to defend from the back we will take a beating.
We need to press high and give them no time on the ball at all.
Pack midfield with ball winners, leave our pace on the bench until the last 15 mins, chuck Mendez, Hoilett and Harris on then go at them with everything.

On 13th December 2016 one man stood up to be counted against a pack of Wolves his name was Kenneth Zohore.

They would! The thing is virtually all his posts are ‘whoppers’!
I think a recent one was that we should go in for Harry Winks on loan.

Couldn't agree with you more regarding the style of play & even our respective managers could both be described as likeable tosspots, I'm so excited to be playing Premier League opposition once again and in conclusion I think we're going to tear them a new one. Uppa Bluebirds. :ayatollah:
