I get the impression from watching him ref games that Lee Mason always favours the "bigger" teams.

Did he ref us away to Sunderland in prem when he made sure that they score?

Awful referee, any small chance we had of getting a result has gone with that big club biased tosser in charge!

Mason still a prick though.

With the exception of our one season in the PL where we lost 2 Home games he was in charge of, Arsenal 3-0 and West Ham 2-0, you have to go back to 2004 for the last time we lost a game with him in charge. Over the years Lee has done a number of our games, both home and away, and we have only lost 3 of them.


I could think of a lot worse referee to have in charge and given his record for us well who know we may just get a result out of this match. Anyone fancy a replay at the ETIHAD.
