So where does play advantage for ex amount of seconds then blow as the ball nestles in the opposition net for a head injury when he the ref could have blown for the goal with the same duty of care to the injured player and subsequent treatment with city still scoring the Bamba goal. Is that the rule? You could have advantage like rugby then but it’s never been more than a couple of seconds in football

if the ref deems that he does not blow immediately then its an advantage until the advantage is lost. End of

As far as I am concerned you either play an advantage or blow up immediately. You can't play half an advantage.

If you play an advantage, then the game stops only when either the ball goes dead/out of play or the advantage is lost.
If he blew because he thought the players health was at risk in delaying, then he should have blown immediately.
