Cardiff City have been linked with a move for Wigan Athletic defender Donervon Daniels.

The Daily Mail and The Sun claim Cardiff, Norwich City and Sunderland have all tracked central defender Daniels with a view to signing him in the summer.

The 24-year-old's contract with the Latics expires in the summer, and he is now able to hold talks with potential suitors given that he has not signed a new deal at the DW Stadium.


Daniels spent the first half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan with Rochdale, featuring 18 times for Keith Hill's side before being recalled by promotion-chasing Wigan.
