Le Fondre out to prove a point

Adam Le Fondre:

“I’m sure it won’t be a fond reunion, well, at least not for them. I didn’t do too well down there and I don’t know why.
“I’ve chalked it up to experience, it happens, but I’m hoping I can go down there and get a start and a goal.
“They must think ‘what a waste of money’ because it just didn’t happen.
“So I want to go down there and prove a few people wrong, get a result, make sure we carry on pushing up the table.”

The only thing he proved tonight is that he spent far too long here.

Probably the easiest game our defence have had all season, apart from the Sunderland home team.

Bolton looked a completely different team without Madine up front and that thug Pratley missing.

I thought that as well at first, but you’re probably doing what I initially did in mixing Pratley up with Karl Henry. Pratley has actually broken his leg and I thought Bolton really missed his energy and work rate in midfield.

Going back to Le Fondre, I actually thought he didn’t let us down effort wise with us, there were some games where he had to run himself into the ground to do the lazy Kenwyne Jones’ work as well. His attitude off the pitch was a disgrace though and he thinks he’s way better than he is.

Morrison stood out and has been voted our man of the match because Le Fondre was so easy to play against.
