Neil Warnock compares Jamie Ward to Daniel Sturridge
Jamie Ward was desperately unlucky to be forced off the pitch so early on last night.
And speaking about his injury, Neil Warnock has compared Ward to Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge, currently on loan at West Brom.
“Jamie hurt his groin,” admitted Warnock.
“I was only looking at Sturridge the other night, feeling sorry for him, and now Jamie has done it himself.
“He can’t feel it when he’s walking, so we are optimistic it won’t be too bad, but we’ll have to see.”
