If we go up and Tan gives him £30 million he will build a side capable of staying up that will be worth 5 times that within a season.

Hoping he won’t be here if we go up really

No room for sentiment in football man. He’s already stated he doesn’t fancy it up there, give him a good send off and get in someone who does

I think he will fancy it.
Just because Malky messed up so badly when we went up we have to give NW a chance.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love to have him as our manager, but if he’s saying he’s not sure now, might as well make the change early to give a new manager chance to do what he needs to do

Let’s change our manager now then.
I can see what you are saying but I think he has said he doesn’t like the Premiership per se but I reckon he might fancy it with us. He has unfinished business.

If you see what I’m saying no need for the “let’s change now” comment
Look, Warnock is by far the best manager we’ve had not in terms of what he’s done for us but through his whole career. He’s fantastic here and has really done something very few managers would have been able to do.
But he’s 70 next season, and I’m not sure premier league football is for him.
A lot depends on his own personal views and we aren’t even up so this whole convo is irrelevant but mark Hughes is still available if needed

You’re obsessed with me Sven.
And I wasn’t the person who deviated if you read up, you’ll see someone talking about how he might do next season.

Sunday 18th February 2018
"In this age of £100m+ transfer fees (£10m+ in the Championship) what is the most Neil Warnock has paid for a player in his whole managerial career?"
I don't know but looking at the available figures, it may be that our own Gary Madine could well be that man, if the transfer figure alluded to is correct!
Marc had a look into this after the game yesterday and he doesn't think Neil Warnock has spent more than £10 mill on a player and reckons it is well under £10m
On investigation, Marc found an article written in 2016 where Neil Warnock said his most expensive signing for Crystal Palace was £5.5m for James McArthur (from Wigan to Crystal Palace) so does that mean that Gary Madine at £6m from Bolton is the most that Warnock has paid for a player in his management career?
If that were the case, then that (for me) is remarkable given his longevity and success in the game, which included managing in the Premier League and given the amounts other managers have spent trying to get success!
Anybody know of any more expensive players that he has signed?

Thanks, Annis. That makes it James McArthur for £5.5m and that's incredible for the success he's had!
Really is only one Neil Warnock!
