True but would be nice if the option presented itself too. Main thing is we need to make sure we beat brizzle

Fulham for me.

Would rather us having a sniff of hunting down Wolves above us rather than looking over our shoulders at whose chasing us down.

Fulham beat Wolves and we beat the Wurzels we're only six behind them and we still have them to play at home. Suddenly it could become that little bit realistic - Wolves have been so far ahead for so long if someone starts breathing down there neck will test their mental strength for perhaps the first time this season...

We can but dream and it's better to be the hunter than the hunted in my opinion

The best result for Cardiff would be a draw, but I think that Wolves would win that match as they would want to gain the momentum going towards the end of this season.

My head says a Wolves win because it stops Fulham's momentum in its tracks and helps us towards 2nd.

HOWEVER, my heart keeps telling me that Wolves are currently 9 points ahead of us - if they lose to Fulham or even draw and we win against the wurzels then Wolves lead over us would be down to either 6 or 7 points. If we can match or better Wolves' points over the games between now and our home game against them and we beat them at home then we could find ourselves perhaps 3 points off Wolves with our tails up (or even less than 3 points behind depending on their results and they have some tough games coming up too and could just be entering their season's slump period).

It would be squeaky bum time for Espirito Santo and his gang of Portuguese imports then and the Wolves forum would really be worth a read!! it would also be great to hear all those pundits - who said we are all playing for 2nd when Wolves were 13 pts clear - admit they haven't got a fecking clue what they are talking about - and yes I know the one about Granny and her having testicles - but I can dream can't I ?!!

 :occasion5: :bluescarf: :occasion5:
